    • We recommend starting with two vials dependent upon the patient’s age and desired results.
  • Is recovery time needed following my injection?
    • Minor swelling occurs after treatment at the injection site. Patients can expect to go about their daily routine as normal.
  • Will I experience bruising?
    • Bruising tends to occur following Sculptra injections due to the size of the needle used for treatment. We recommend applying arnica gel prior to treatment in order to ease bruising and speed up recovery time.
  • Will I experience pain?
    • We numb all patients with a topical cream prior to performing injections. Patients may experience soreness and tenderness for the next 24 – 48 hours.
  • Can I exercise after injections?
    • We recommend avoiding exercise or strenuous activity for up to 48 hours after injections are performed.
  • How long does it last?
    • Results last for up to two years, but touch-ups (1 – 2 vials) are recommended within one year to 18 months following the initial injection.
